The Knowledge Repository Hub (“the Hub”) is committed to protecting personal data and respecting copyright and licensing rights. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, processed, and protected in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We collect and display information about experts who have given explicit consent to be listed. This include: Name, Surname, Role/Profession, Area of Expertise, Affiliation, Geographical level, Location, LinkedIn/Personal website, Email, Research ID
Living Library:The Living Library hosts or links to open-access documents, publications, or resources. These documents are uploaded or linked only by administrators.
The Hub does not collect personal data from users accessing these materials
User Contributions:Users who wish to contribute may send an email via the “I want to contribute” button. Any data voluntarily shared (such as name and contact details) is used only for communication regarding contributions, except when the contribution is intended for the “Pool of Experts” module.
The Hub does not sell, trade, or transfer any personal data. However, personal data displayed in the Pool of Experts is publicly visible and may be viewed by anyone visiting the Hub.
Experts’ data appears on the Hub only after explicit consent has been obtained. Experts may withdraw consent at any time by contacting the administrator. Upon withdrawal, their data will be removed permanently from the Hub and from our database.
The Hub applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, or loss.

The “Living Library” module only includes documents that are open access under recognized open-access models:
Administrators must ensure that only documents complying with these conditions are uploaded.
If a non–open-access or restricted document is uploaded in error or in violation of copyright, the Hub will remove the material immediately and notify, if applicable, the content owner.
The Hub is not responsible for unintentional copyright violations but commits to act promptly when informed.
The information in the “Living Library” and the “Pool of Experts” modules is publicly accessible. While the Hub does not sell or distribute personal data, information displayed may be seen or reused by others. The Hub cannot control third-party use of publicly available data.
The Hub may use cookies for technical functionality or usage analytics. Cookies do not collect personal data beyond what users voluntarily provide.
This Privacy Policy is always visible and accessible within the Hub. Updates may be posted at any time and they shall be accessible via the Home Page.
